I recently picked up this unknown brand bike frame and am trying to figure out what the heck it is. The seller knew nothing about it other than it’s chrome, has an Itallian threaded bottom bracket, an integrated headset, and has “+GF+” stamped on the BB.
It’s a track frame and I’m planning to build it up but I’m really curious where it came from. I’ve posted a few more detail photos on flickr and was able to find this thread on Bikeforums (thanks Mikey!) and this company seems to be connected somehow, but those are still pretty weak leads. Any ideas?

Okay, follow-up info suggests it is virtually certain to be a Masi, but, um, how old is that thing anyway?
The reason I ask is because I found these page with photos of a Masi Pista with an integrated headset from the 1940s.
I don’t really think your bike is quite that old, but it’s . . . weird!

The guy who sold it to me said he thought it was from the 50’s or 60’s but I thought he was kinda nuts.

When I showed pics to my bike friend tonight while he was teaching/ tuning my bike and he suggested an older italian bike. Most of them under the paint were all chrome with only the rear triangle showing the chrome (mainly to protect the metal from chain slaps). It is most likely the Masi as stated by Ryan.
